It dawned on me that I haven’t done my “What I’m Reading” post for April…and I KNOW you’ve all been sitting on the edges of your seats waiting for it. Haven’t you??? Anyone???
The truth is, I’ve been reading a lot lately. After seeing The Hunger Games movie, (okay, twice) I’ve been re-reading The Hunger Games books, I’ve also recently read The House at Tyneford (GREAT book!), the first book in The Maze Runner series, and now, I’m reading…
Since I’m a Kindle girl now, you get lovely photography of my device, rather than a lovely book. Oh well…
I’m not too far into Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children right now, but it definitely has a dark and eery edge, which I kind of like. I like a little darkness with my books.
This, however…
…really freaks me out! But I buzzed on past it and started reading. I’ll be sure to fill you all in once I finish it…as long as I’m not too terrified, or weirded out, or scarred to discuss it.
(I’m actually kidding, I’m well aware this is actually a young adult’s book, so it definitely won’t be enough to freak me out, I’m a grown woman after all.)
PS, THIS page made me very, very happy.
Yes, I’m like a teenager that I still get a bit giddy when I see my absolute favorite movie star of all time’s name mentioned in any possible situation.
