Recently, my darling nephew turned one, and his mom and dad were anxious to throw him a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party. Rather than going with the typical red and yellow color scheme, they found a cute party set that was perfect for a first birthday…light blue and yellow. I was happy to make the cupcakes and smash cake, and to coordinate the printables…and I was lucky enough to get the CUTEST custom printables from Jen of Passion-for-Parties!
Sorry I only got a few photos…I was busy snapping about 8524 pictures of the birthday boy!
The idea for the Mickey Mouse cupcakes came from my aunt…and Pinterest! It was so easy to do using the Wilton Candy Melts and some pearl “sprinkles”.
