PLACESETTING DECORATION IDEA

I’m going to start sharing my “Entertaining Tip of the Month” beginning in August, so welcome to my first post! My plans are to make these tips simple and inexpensive, and easily executed in your own home!

Using items that are currently in season is one of the best ways to decorate your table.  I love when I see terracotta pots of rosemary lined up as tablescape centerpieces, but have you ever thought of using it at individual placesettings?

This will add a natural element to your placesetting (which I always love) and it smells lovely! All I needed was a napkin, some rosemary from the garden, and bakers twine.  It’s a creative addition to your table and the best part…it’s FREE! (Or relatively inexpensive if you don’t have rosemary in the garden.)

Some other ideas that you could use in place of rosemary are:

Lavender
Thyme
Oregano
Fresh flowers
